The scanner access connects the digital advance sale with the real entry on site. This area is therefore much more than just a small additional feature. It ensures that tickets can not only be sold but also checked and used on the event day.
Backstage provides an entry app that is used on mobile devices. Activation is done via authorization keys or QR codes that can be assigned to an event or even a specific entry area.
This is particularly helpful for organizers, as it allows for the structuring of entry processes:
multiple devices can be prepared,
different entry areas can be handled separately,
and access can be flexibly shared via QR code, PDF, or email.
This area makes it clear that ticketing in Backstage does not end with the purchase. The platform continues the process all the way to actual entry. That is crucial in the event day-to-day, because a clean sales process is of little use if the entry has to be improvised in the end.
