Tickets

Tickets are at the core of sales. This is where the actual main products of an event are created and developed.

A ticket is not just a name with a price in Backstage. It has multiple dimensions: content, pricing, contingents, availability, and visibility. That is precisely why the creation process is multi-step.

This division makes sense because a ticket is rarely one-dimensional in the organizer's daily life. In addition to the simple question of price, it almost always involves:

  • how many tickets should be available,

  • when they will be offered,

  • under what conditions they appear,

  • and in what order they are visible to buyers.

In addition, there is the sorting on the customer side. The order of tickets is not neutral in sales but influences perception and purchasing behavior. Backstage thus gives organizers the opportunity to deliberately control this order.

Overall, the ticket area is not just a mere item management system but the place where product logic, sales strategy, and visibility converge.
