How do I create an event?
To create an event, go to the Events menu item in the sidebar within Backstage and select Create New Event at the top right. You will then be guided through the creation process of your new event.
During the creation process, you can add the following information:
General information such as title, subtitle, and description text
Details about the venue, meaning the location of your event
Information about artists performing at your event
Preferences regarding appearance, such as a preview image for your event or a primary color that will be used on the tickets
Offered tickets and related information regarding allocations, prices, and optional multi-level pricing
Offered extras and the information needed for allocations and prices
Fees that you want to add to your tickets and extras
After creation, your event will be set as a draft, and you can set up and use additional features such as marketing campaigns.
