Do I need a Meta Pixel?

No, a Meta Pixel is not strictly required to run a campaign with Future Demand. However, it can improve campaign performance by providing additional audience data that can be used for more precise targeting. 

There is also the possibility to integrate a custom Conversions API. This can also contribute to optimizing the campaign by transmitting relevant event data to Meta server-side – regardless of the pixel.
